Global multimedia artist Qymira has unveiled the official music video for her latest single, ‘Labyrinth Of Life’, released September 11th via Qiia Media. The video is an ambitious, film-scale production that turns the song’s themes of self-discovery and fate into a sweeping visual adventure. It also opens a bold new creative chapter for the artist as she prepares to lead her second feature film, the international female-led action thriller LOTUS, starring alongside Academy Award winner Cuba Gooding Jr., Luke Ford and more.
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Pedring Lopez, ‘Labyrinth Of Life’ blurs the line between music video and cinema. The story begins at a high-stakes poker table, where Qymira, dressed in a striking crimson gown, holds the room until reality begins to crack around her. From there she is pulled through a shifting maze of worlds across time and civilisations: untamed jungles, ancient Egyptian battlefields, frozen kingdoms on the brink of war and neon-lit cyberpunk cities. In each world she takes on a new identity, from warrior and leader to survivor and dreamer, mirroring the song’s message that every choice shapes the path ahead.
“Labyrinth Of Life is about the invisible paths that shape who we become,” Qymira explains. “Every scene represents a different possibility, a different version of ourselves. I’ve always wanted my music to feel cinematic, and this video captures that dream perfectly.”
The video arrives as Qymira’s film career gathers real momentum. After an acclaimed acting debut in Shadow Transit, for which she also composed the score, she now takes the lead in LOTUS, one of Asia’s most ambitious international action productions. Produced by Hong Kong-based ACT3 and Blackops Studios Asia, the film reunites her with Pedring Lopez for a globe-spanning thriller that combines hard-hitting action, noir-inspired visuals and emotional storytelling across the Philippines and Brazil. The international cast includes Cuba Gooding Jr., Luke Ford, Cristian Lavin and Alberto Cowboy, and the film is part of a multi-picture slate launched at the Cannes Film Market.
“Working with Pedring again has been an incredible creative experience,” says Qymira. “As I prepare for LOTUS, this feels like the perfect bridge between my musical journey and everything that’s coming next.”
Lopez is equally enthusiastic about his lead. “Qymira has a rare ability to tell stories without saying a word,” he says. “That same emotional intensity is what makes her such a compelling lead in LOTUS.”
Rather than treating music and film as separate careers, Qymira is building a single creative world where each project feeds the next. Her songs, visuals, orchestral work and screen performances are linked by recurring ideas of transformation, duality and identity, making ‘Labyrinth Of Life’ a natural companion to LOTUS.
The release caps a major period for the artist. Across 2025 and 2026, she toured the UK supporting Boyzlife and Collabro on The Harmony Tour, playing venues including London’s Cadogan Hall and Edinburgh’s St Giles’ Cathedral. In Brazil, she recorded a Portuguese-language single with Buja Ferreira of the celebrated percussion group Timbalada, launched at Casa Ronaldo during this year’s World Cup.
Born in Hong Kong and raised in San Francisco, Qymira has built a career spanning music, fashion, film, conducting and philanthropy. Her debut single ‘Satisfied’ topped the UK Music Week Breakers Chart, followed by chart success in the UK, Germany and Brazil. A classically trained composer, she conducts her own orchestral works through the Qymira Symphony Orchestra, and supports children across the Philippines, Hong Kong and Brazil through her One Gaia Foundation.
