The 18 track project follows five DRT chart placements, high-profile collaborations and a growing national presence.
Independent artist AL99 has released “It’s Me”, his sophomore album, through TPC Music Production, LLC. The September 25, 2026 release marks the next chapter in a journey that has taken him from building an independent catalog to earning chart recognition, collaborating with respected artists and reaching new audiences across the country.
AL99’s first album, ELEVATE, established the range of an artist equally at home behind the microphone and behind the boards. Its songs “POP,” “SUPERDUPER” and “WHY II” reached No. 5, No. 6 and No. 5, respectively, on the DRT Global Top 100 Independent Artists chart. He followed with “Addictive Visions” featuring Aisha Hall, which reached No. 3, and “SUPERDUPER (Remix)” featuring The Legendary Smooth B, which reached No. 1.
Now, “It’s Me” turns that progress into an 18 track album with a more expansive view of AL99. “GUAP” brings the energy of a celebration with his people. “War in Music” addresses the pressures of pursuing a place in the industry. Across the title track, “Life I Chose,” “Ashes,” “Learn” and “GOAT,” AL99 moves through determination, reflection and self-belief without losing the personality that connects his music to his audience.
The release features Aisha Hall, 40pak, LBLeoBars, ADMONISH Music and The Legendary Smooth B. It also carries forward the independent foundation built by AL99 and TPC Music Production, LLC, which secured a distribution agreement with UMG/Bungalo in 2025.
AL99 has supported his releases with a growing presence on stage and in media. Recent activity includes press runs in Miami and Atlanta, along with appearances connected to ThisIs50, WorldStarHipHop, WeFam ATL, HASH1 ATL and Industries Most Wanted Podcast. A multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer and engineer, he continues to shape both the sound and direction of his career.
With “It’s Me”, AL99 invites listeners who discovered him through ELEVATE to hear where that journey has led. The album is available now on major streaming platforms.
