WILMINGTON, NC / LOS ANGELES, CA — July 10, 2026 — Recording artist Angela Chambers has released her new single, a cover of “Everybody’s Talkin’,” the Fred Neil-penned classic made famous by Harry Nilsson’s Grammy-winning recording for the 1969 film Midnight Cowboy. The single arrives following a near-death experience Chambers survived earlier this year, an experience she credits with reshaping her approach to music and life.
The track was written and recorded in Los Angeles by Chambers alongside producer Bruce Sugar at his LA studio, with slide guitar performed by Jeff Silbar.
A companion music video, directed by acclaimed photographer Brownie Harris, is scheduled for release on August 12, 2026. The video was filmed on location in Wilmington, NC, and presents an intimate studio-session concept inspired by the visual style of a classic Olan Mills or Lifetouch portrait sitting.
“Everybody’s Talkin'” and its forthcoming video mark Chambers’ return following a period of recovery, delivered with what she describes as a feeling of nothing left to lose.
